Honest answers to the questions we hear most often — from teachers and from schools.
What happens after an introduction is entirely between you and the school you choose to engage with. We are not an employment service, and we do not act on your behalf in any application or hiring process. If you're ever told otherwise, that doesn't reflect how we operate — please get in touch so we can clarify.
We can share general, publicly available information about work authorisation pathways in Australia. For specific visa advice, please consult a registered Australian migration agent or contact the Department of Home Affairs directly — we'll always be clear about where our role ends.
AITSL — the Australian Institute for Teaching and School Leadership — is the national body responsible for assessing overseas-trained teacher qualifications in Australia.
Most Australian states and territories require internationally trained teachers to have their qualifications assessed through AITSL (or through a relevant state-based authority) before they can apply for teacher registration. This is a step you will need to research and initiate independently.
We recommend visiting the official AITSL website and the teacher registration authority in the Australian state or territory you are considering.
Here is what we genuinely offer:
Schools retain full control of the hiring process — including applications, interviews, and final decisions. Once we've made an introduction, the school and teacher proceed entirely independently, and we have no ongoing role in the employment relationship.
Teachers introduced through our platform are independent individuals exploring their own career opportunities. Any employment relationship is formed directly between the teacher and the school, with no ongoing involvement from us.
We're happy to answer anything not covered here. Reach out directly — no complicated forms, just a straightforward conversation.
